How do I participate in the virtual event?
Click on the Livestream button above before the event goes live on Saturday, April 18, 2020. We recommend you tune in with 2 devices (computer/tablet/cell phone) or open 2 tabs on your computer. This will allow you to watch the livestream program and bid in the mobile bidding platform during the event.
What will the program be like during A Masked Affair?
This program will be hosted by our benefit auctioneer Kelly Russell, and it will be a celebration of our community and an opportunity to support the future of Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp. We will hear from Executive Director Dave McDonald and share powerful stories of our impact. We’ll also have some great silent and live auction packages for you to bid on and a special appeal you can donate to—all from the comfort of your couch!
The auctions will open on Wednesday, April 15 so bidders will have the opportunity to bid on their favorite packages before the livestream event. We will close the live auction during the livestream, and the silent auction will remain open until Tuesday, April 21.
How can I purchase an auction item or donate to Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp?
- Register for online bidding at https://mhkc2020.ggo.bid/ (instructions below)
- Bid on your favorite auction packages starting at Noon (PDT) on Wednesday, April 15: https://mhkc2020.ggo.bid/
- Give in the special appeal by clicking “Give in the Special Appeal”
- The live auction will close during the event on Saturday, April 18
- The silent auction will close on Tuesday, April 21 at Noon (PDT)
Here are the steps to get registered to bid:
- Go to https://mhkc2020.ggo.bid/.
- Click the “Start Bidding” button in upper right-hand corner of screen.
- Click the green “Create Account” button.
- Enter your email address.
- Wait for verification email (check your junk folder if you don’t receive it).
- Follow verification link and complete form. Be sure to provide your mobile number.
- Verify payment method, billing address, email and mobile number are correct. Click on grey boxes to update information.
- Click on the “Start Bidding!” link to enter the auction.
