About Us

Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp is one of the leading residential camps nationwide serving individuals with developmental disabilities. For over 85 years we have been able to provide quality outdoor adventures to nearly 16,000 children and adults with various developmental, cognitive, and physical disabilities. All recreational activities offered at MHKC (adventure course, horseback riding, canoeing, cookouts, etc.) are specifically adapted to meet each camper's unique needs. Our programs annually serve more than 575 campers ages 8 to 55 (and older) who join us each season to participate in Summer Camp, Winter Retreat and Family Camp.
